Our story began in 2020 when Fay, after 8 years in Primary Education, transitioned from classroom teaching to open the MagiKats Newquay Tuition Centre. This franchise, renowned for its small group tuition and interactive learning methods, was built on a hands-on approach to engage and motivate learners. Fay’s passion for creating impactful learning experiences led her to establish Kernow Tuition, expanding her vision to encompass a broader range of bespoke educational services.
Today, Fay continues to run MagiKats sessions while overseeing Kernow Tuition’s dedicated team of like-minded tutors. Our team works collaboratively with families, schools, local authorities, and other professionals to provide the highest quality support for each child.

We aim to provide tuition that meets the needs of each individual child, whether they require support after school or are unable to attend school. For children who cannot fully access school, we create bespoke packages tailored to their unique circumstances, guided by their interests and passions, to ensure they remain engaged and motivated in their learning journey.
Our services include one-to-one sessions, small group tuition, and online or face-to-face lessons at our tuition centre, all designed to align with the National Curriculum.

We are proud to have a brand-new centre based in Nansledan, Newquay, offering a calm and supportive environment where students can receive tuition. For children who are home-educated or attending school, we provide the option of either in-centre or online tuition.
For local authorities or schools seeking tuition for children who cannot access school, we offer both in-person and online options. These sessions can take place at the student's home, school, community centre, or our tuition centre, depending on where the child feels most comfortable and safe.
